I am a CompEx Ex inspector and E&I engineer with 20+ years in offshore and onshore oil & gas. ATEX-FullCare is my independent practice: hazardous area inspection, classification and explosion protection support — field-first, findings-first.

Field experience, not just paperwork
My background is hands-on electrical and instrumentation work in demanding environments — offshore platforms and onshore oil & gas facilities where Ex equipment has to keep working safely for years. That is where I learned that explosion protection lives or dies in the field: on flame paths, cable entries, markings and the discipline of inspection, not only in the certificate folder.

Inspection to IEC 60079-17, and repairs handled the right way — to IEC 60079-19 with manufacturer-approved methods and parts, or by like-for-like replacement of certified components to restore integrity.
